Let's
make a divider!
Basic
Divider
1.
Open a new transparent image 550 x 150.
2.
Flood fill with your back ground color.
3.
Create a new Raster layer & choose a ding font such
as Seperates using these settings:

I had the pink as my background color and ivory as the
foreground color with a stroke width of 2 because I
wanted the ivory line around my divider to match my
title.
4.
Add the Blade Pro preset coconut ice & drop
shadow.

5.
I like to go to Adjust/Sharpness/Unsharp
Mask using these settings:

6.
Crop any excess background and save as a transparent GIF
like we did earlier.
Embellished
Divider
If
you would like to add some pizzazz to your divider, here
are some ideas
.
Here I added the rose tube scaled down to 15 with a drop
shadow.

Here I embellished with some gems.
You
are limited only by your imagination here. Just remember
each time you add a new element, create a new layer for
it so if you want to move it or delete, you won't have
to start all over again.
But
I don't have Blade Pro!! No problem. Instead use PSP's
Inner Bevel:

Look
how pretty! In fact, I like it better with the Inner
Bevel. I added a drop shadow and used the Unsharp Mask
effect.
This
should give you a good start on making dividers.
How
about some buttons?
