For
this tutorial you will need:
Jasc Paint Shop Pro
Super Blade Pro preset black_matte HERE
(unzip to your environments and textures
folder)
Arrow & Diamonds HERE
A tube of your choosing
Lets
Begin!

1. Open a transparent canvas 500 x 300. Flood fill with a background
color of your choice. I chose white.
2. Using your preset shapes tool, pick this heart:

and these settings:

Draw out your heart to about 160x160.
Right click on your layer & convert to raster
use your magic wand to select the inside of the heart
go to Selections/Modify/Expand by 1. Choose gradient as
your background fill with these settings:

and flood fill with your gradient. I used #D21279 & #8E0E53
Deselect.
3. Use your magic wand set to a tolerance of about 40 to select inside
the heart. Create a new raster layer while selected and go to
Effects/3D Effects/Cutout and enter these settings:

Apply the cutout effect once again changing the Vertical to 8. Deselect.
4. Create a new raster layer & change your Foreground color to white
and activate your brush tool with these settings:

Paint in these areas:

5. Go to Adjust/Blur/Gaussian Blur 10. Your heart will look like this:

Looks pretty good doesn't it?! But let's tweak it some more.
6. Create another new raster layer and use your brush tool again
but change the size to 6 and paint some smaller highlights on top of your previous white
sections.

Apply Gaussian Blur & change to 6.
7. Activate your heart layer and use your magic wand to select the black
outline. Apply Super Blade Pro preset black_ matte or whatever preset
or bevel you like. Keep selected.
8. Go to Effects/Illumination Effects/Lights and use these settings:

Play around by pulling the adjustment bars so they hit
on the edges of your border. Deselect.
9. Hide your bottom background layer by clicking on the eye & then click
on any one of the other layers, right click and merge visible.
10.Unhide your background and apply a drop shadow using the darker of your
2 colors that you used for your gradient, & these settings:

11.Apply another shadow with these settings:

Your heart should now look something close to this:

12. Open your arrow that I provided - I had to mess so much with this darn
thing because just stretching it made it too chunky or made the arrow tip
too elongated - I couldn't begin to write the instructions, so it was easier
for me to just include a zip of it and tell you to use it! LOL Place the
arrow on a new layer and apply the preset or bevel you used on the heart border.
Drag this down underneath your heart layer & add a drop shadow of H 1 V 2
Opacity 100 Blur 7:

13. Hide your background layer and click on one of the other layers & merge visible.
Unhide your background.
14. Make sure your heart layer is selected and resize 75% making sure
resize all layers is UN-checked.
15. Change your background gradient to linear, angle 45, repeat 1 and
invert checked. Then switch your colors so that the darker color is
your foreground color:

16. Using your shapes tool with these settings:

Draw out a rectangle about 1/4 the size of your canvas.
Move it over to the left of your canvas. Right click and convert to raster.
17. Go to Adjust/Add/Remove Noise/Add Noise & use these settings:

18. On a new layer place your tube and lower the opacity to about 64.
19. Add your quote, creating as vector so you can size and place it easily.
I used my linear gradient for this. Right click & convert to raster. Add
a drop shadow H 0 V 1 Opacity 50 Blur 1.
20. Select the font you like for your name and create as vector. Click
on the little plus sign next to the vector layer, then right click on your name and choose convert
Text to Curves/As Character shapes. You will then see another plus sign and when
you click this you will see all the letters appear separately. Click on each letter
and you will be able to move and size them individually. Align then in a column over
your rectangle. When you have it aligned, right click and convert to raster.
Selections/Select All and apply your black matte preset or whatever
you used on your heart border & arrow. Drop shadow H 1 V 2 Opacity 50 Blur 5.
21. Place your diamonds where you like them and add a drop shadow.
22. Merge All Flatten and add a border of 1 in a matching color. Add another border size 10
in white, and then another size 1 border in the same color as your first border.

hope you enjoyed this tutorial. I would love to see your
