This
tutorial was written in PSP 9. It can be done in an earlier version with
a slight modification.
This tutorial also assumes you are familiar with PSP and where to find
things!
Please
don't claim my tutorial as your own or script them or sell them. If
you'd like to share, please send as a link. Thank you!
You
will need:
Jasc
Paint Shop Pro
Faerie, butterfly & floral corner tubes
AL Fantasy Type Font
You can get these HERE

Let's
go!
1. Open a transparent canvas 500 x 375. Click on your oil
brush and use these settings:

Using various colors picked from your tube, click around your canvas placing the
colors randomly. Mine looks like this:

Note: if you are using another version of PSP you can do the
same thing with your brush tool.
2. You will notice that the layer is an Art Media layer (this for PSP9
only).
Right click on it in the layers palette and convert it to a raster layer.
Activate your smudge tool:

and use these settings:

Now smudge the edges between the different colors to blend them so
that there are no hard edges.
Your image should look like this:

3. Create a new raster layer and place your tube. Add a drop shadow. My first
shadow on the tube was with a purple color:

The second shadow was a bright aqua:

Your colors will depend on the colors in your tube.
4. To create your name, click on the background layer and copy & paste
as a new image & minimize as will we use it again later. Set your
background to pattern and choose your copied background. In order for
all the colors to show I sized my pattern at 30 and an angle of 45.
Create as vector and type your name. In PSP 9 you can create vertical
text, if you are using an earlier version, you can accomplish the same
thing this way:
Click on the little plus sign next to the vector layer,
then right click on your name and choose convert Text to Curves/As Character
shapes. You will then see another plus sign and when you click this you will
see all the letters appear separately. Click on each letter and you will be
able to move and size them individually. Align them in a column. When you are
finished, right click and convert to raster.
Select All/Selection Float and
apply whatever preset or bevel you like. I used Super Blade Pro on mine.
Add a drop shadow with these settings:

5. For the fairy quote I used a purple gradient as my background, create as vector & then
added a drop shadow in an aqua color.
6. Use a butterfly tube and duplicate it in different sizes,
place them in a curved pattern on the right of your image.
Add a drop shadow.
7. Add sparkle tubes for accents here & there.
8. Right click on your layer palette and Merge Flatten.
9. You can resize it now if you would like it smaller. I resized down
85%. Adjust Sharpness/Sharpen.
10. Go to Image/Add Border and add a border size 10 in a contrasting color
that you can select with your magic wand. Go to your pattern and set
the Angle at 0 and the size to 100. Flood fill your border with the
pattern. Keep selected.
11. Add your favorite preset or bevel. I used the same Super Blade Pro preset as
I used for my name. Add a drop shadow H & V 2, Opacity 70, Blur 5.
Then again with your H & V set to -2. Select None.
12. Image/Add Border in size 20. Select it with your magic wand, flood fill
with your pattern and add your preset or bevel.
13. Create a new raster layer and add your floral corners resized to 40.
Add the same drop shadow as before. Right click on this layer and
duplicate. Go to Image/Flip. Duplicate this layer and Image/Mirror.
Duplicate this layer and Image/Flip. Merge All/Flatten and save.
That's it! You've finished your Faerie Fantasy. I hope you enjoyed this
tutorial.
