Supplies
needed:
PSP
9 (but can be done in an earlier version)
A rose tube
Xero Porcelain Filter
freeware found here

Let's
get started!
1. Open a transparent canvas 400x400
2. Place your tube on a new layer and pick out two colors with
your eyedropper, setting one to Foreground & one to the Background color.
Hide your rose layer for now by clicking on the eye in the layers palette.
3. Activate your shapes tool circle with these settings:

and pull out a large circle - center it on your canvas and then right
click on the vector layer in your layers palette and convert to raster

4. Selections/Select All/Selection Float then Effects/Texture Effects/Fur
with these settings:

5. Go to Effects/Distortion Effects/Curlicues with these settings:

6. Keep selected - Selections/Modify/Expand by 3 - now right click on
your circle layer and Promote selection to layer. Drag the promoted selection
underneath the circle & fill with a third color or gradient. You may have
to click several times to get a solid fill. Your image should look
something like this:

Deselect
7. Unhide your tube and resize to fit the circle if necessary. Merge all layers visible.
8. Apply the filter Xero Porcelain at the default settings:

Depending on the fill you used for the outer edge, it may become
semi-transparent after applying the Porcelain filter. You can duplicate
your circle and then merge visible to fix this, which is what I did.
9. Duplicate your circle 5 times, hide all the top layers & make sure to activate the
bottom layer - Effects/reflection Effects/Kaleidoscope with these settings:

The goal here is to apply the Kaleidoscope effect with different settings for
all but the last layer of your flower circles. Thus making each one slightly
different. Hide each layer after you have applied your effect so you can see
what you're doing & remember to leave the top one as is! Keep in mind that
changing certain settings will change the outer size and shape and loose your
border. I have supplied screenshots of 4 of my settings to give you an
idea of which settings to play with:

10.Now we will resize the 5 circles that have been through the kaleidoscope.
This is entirely up to you how much difference you want between all the
circles.
Note: Once you resize all your circles you will see the scattered outer
edges from the kaleidoscope. Just hide all your layers and one at a time unhide a
layer and erase anything outside the circle area.
11. Okay now unhide all your layers and place your circles with some on top
of your original one and some underneath. This is what mine looks like:

12. Once your happy with the placement, merge all visible.
13.
The only thing left to do now is add your name. I used Inner
Bevel
on mine and a drop shadow. You can try Blade Pro or any other
effect
you think looks good. I also added a small rose as an accent.
14.
Resize as necessary and your done!
